December 2024
Dear SJEEC Families,
November was a fun-filled month! Some highlights from the past month included:
Enrichment’s field trip to the Orange Johnson House
Enrichment’s visit from Mr. Alan Lines and his 1931 Model A Ford
In Spanish class, the students built a turkey and practiced their Spanish vocabulary at the same time.
Thanksgiving Feasts!
I realize Thanksgiving is over, but anytime is a good time to share gratitude. I want to take a moment to tell you how grateful I am for the teachers and staff at St. John’s. I am continually struck by their dedication to SJEEC and all of the children in their classrooms. Each teacher goes above and beyond what is expected of them to give your child the individualized care that you have experienced as a parent here at St. John’s. Your children are known and loved. The teachers at St. John’s are paid to be here from 8:30 to 12:30, but not one of them leaves as soon as the day is over. They spend hours each month collaborating, planning and preparing for your child’s day and are genuinely excited to see their students each morning. I love working at St. John’s with such an amazing group of women. This truly is a special place to work, learn, play and grow.
Enrollment will open in January! Please let interested families know about your experience at St. John’s. We would love to give them a tour and to tell them about our highly qualified teachers. Have them contact me or Kelly to schedule.
